Holdem Minibets — Low Blinds, Real Stack Building

The small blind is the forced bet posted by the player immediately left of the dealer button before any cards are dealt. In our minibet games it starts at ৳5, and the big blind is double that amount.

Community cards are the five cards dealt face-up in the middle of the table — three on the flop, one on the turn, one on the river — that every player combines with their two hole cards to make the strongest five-card hand.

Position describes where you sit relative to the dealer button. Late position means you act after most opponents, so you see their bets before you decide; early position means you act first, with less information about the strength around the table.

Checking means you pass the action to the next player without placing a bet. You can only check if no one before you has bet in the current round; once someone bets, you must call, raise or fold.

Going all-in means you push your entire remaining chip stack into the pot. If opponents have more chips they can still bet against each other in a side pot, but you can only win the main pot up to the amount you matched.

Rake is the small percentage the house takes from each pot to cover the cost of running the table. In our minibet games the rake is capped so it never exceeds a fixed amount even if the pot grows large during the hand.
